Tara Winkelmann, M.D.

Tara Winkelmann, M.D. joined Women of the Woodlands in August of 2008. She grew up in Brenham, Texas, where the majority of her family still lives. She graduated with a B.S. degree from Davidson College in North Carolina with a major in Biology and minor in Feminist Politics and Medical Humanities. She then attended the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston and obtained her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. She completed residency at St. Joseph Medical Center/Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. She is excited to move to The Woodlands because it is a family oriented community. Dr. Winkelmann welcomes the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to women of all ages.   <<back to staff
